You can watch the results of a quiz live in the Live Results tab. This way, teachers can monitor student progress and see how students are doing while they take the quiz.
Here are a few key points to note about the Live Results page:
'Information' Icon
Click the icon next to the quiz title to view the delivery method and settings you designated for this quiz.
Show Names/Answers
Use these toggles to show/hide students' names/answers (green means on and grey means off). This way, you can keep students and/or responses anonymous if you're projecting the results page in-class, for example.
Name
Click this column to sort names according to their last name and alphabetical order for easy reference. If your room is rostered, this column will also show if a student is currently connected. A dash means they're not connected whereas a green dot means they are connected.
Progress
You can track student progress in percentage based on how many questions they've responded to. Click on this column's drop-down menu for more options; student scores are based on correct answers or in percent they got correct.
Question Numbers
Question numbers are listed along the top of each column. Each column is also colour coded and uses symbols to indicate question type.
Column 1 – Multiple Choice questions (list icon) in yellow
Column 2 – True or False questions (checkmark and cross icon) in purple
Column 3 – Short Answer questions (lines icon) in orange
Student Responses
Each student response will show as either green if response is correct or red if incorrect.
Class Total
This row will indicate how many students got the question correct.
Finish Activity
Click this button to end the current activity and from here you can generate reports.
When the quiz is finished, displayed will be the total number of students who participated, the completion rate by group, and the class’s average score. You can also set a passing rate to easily view the percentage of students who met or exceeded it.
