Socrative will never sell your personal data to third parties and does not engage in any personal predictive profiling. 

To support the delivery of our services, to provide customer support, and for the delivery of notifications, Socrative engages with carefully selected data sub-processors. These sub-processors have access to certain customer data in order to perform their tasks.

Prior to engaging any third party, Socrative performs due diligence to assess their privacy, security, and confidentiality practices. All sub-processors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard mechanism for the transfer of data outside of the EU and are GDPR compliant.

Socrative's current sub-processors, their location, and the services they provide are as follows:

Amazon Web Services: Database hosting and data transfer (USA)
CloudFront: Log monitoring (USA)

Convert API: File conversion (Lithuania)

Customer.io: Delivery of product notifications and business-critical communications (USA)
Intercom: Support, product notifications, and marketing outreach (USA)
Pubnub: Collection and transmission of events and metadata (USA)

Segment.io: Data collection and integration (USA)

In addition, we share teacher personal data with other teachers through a teacher’s profile and/or newsfeed, depending on the newsfeed privacy settings. We share teacher’s name and school with students and parents. 

We share student personal data only with that student’s teacher(s) and parent(s) and as expressly described in our Privacy Policy and our COPPA Privacy Policy.
