How to manage the subscription for your Socrative Pro individual license

If you're looking to manage your individual subscription — be it renew, switch from Pro to the free version, transition to a multi-license account, or request a refund — we want to help make this transition easier!

Requesting a Refund

Subscribers can request a full refund from up to 30 days following the start date of their trial period. If there was no trial for the subscription, a full refund can be requested up to 30 days following the payment date of the new subscription or renewal.

Please note that requests for refunds following this 30-day period cannot be fulfilled. If you would like to request a refund on a recent subscription purchase or renewal, contact us via the chat widget in the bottom right corner.

Changing Your Plan

If you change to a plan with a lower price, you will receive a credit on your account for the difference in price. This can be used towards the payment of your next renewal. The credit amount will depend on how much time remains on your current subscription plan from your next renewal date.

If you change to a plan with a higher price, you will be charged the difference.

Transitioning from an Individual to a Multi-license Subscription

If your administrator purchases licenses for use by individuals at your institution during your subscription term, we will gladly provide you with a prorated refund on your subscription.  

Please keep in mind:

  • Your credit card may apply additional fees when exchanging from non-US currency.

  • Refunds will be issued by the payment method used for the billing cycle.

Renewing your subscription/Cancelling an Upcoming Renewal

After logging in to Socrative through the Socrative Website:

  1. Click on your initial in the top right corner and click Profile.

  2. In the header, select 'Account'

  3. Then select 'Manage Plan'. From there, you'll then be able to manage your subscription on your account. After logging in to Socrative through the Socrative Website, click on your initial in the top right corner and click Profile.

*If you have a legacy Pro plan, you may have a license key with the option to toggle off and on/auto-renew. If auto-renew is toggled on, payment will renew automatically

by default.

Subscription plans will renew automatically in 1 year or 1 month depending on the plan subscribed. Please be aware, you will receive renewal reminders 7 days prior to your renewal date.
